Here is an interesting item in my stash. This is an 1877 US Trade Dollar that has been milled into a locket. I really enjoy this one because of the message inside. There is a handwritten note that says:
"In God We Trust. He will guard you night and day."
Unfortunately, many of these are severely damaged by idiots trying to pry them open. The hinge and lid on this one function perfectly. I've seen these called "Opium Dollars", "Snuff Boxes", and "Smugglers Coins".
