This listing is for 1 (ONE) of the Police Department Trade-In Remington 870 12 Gauge Shotguns pictured.  As you can see there is a little variety in the setup.  The accessories and barrel length vary slightly by gun. They have cosmetic rack wear from years of riding around in a patrol car.  They are all functional and great shotguns. The photo showns is of the current lot we are pulling from.

These shotguns have various upgrades including a top rail, and or a side saddle and a magazine extension. Most of them have an 18" barrel, but a couple have a 20" barrel. They all have metal trigger guards, indicating they were all made prior to the infamous Remington sell out (to china/wal-mart). These will be sold on a first come first serve basis, with no picking or choosing.

They have various markings on them, such as "express", "express magnum", "police magnum" and "wingmaster". Once your order is made we will randomly grab one out of the pile and ship it to the dealer of your choice.

You won't be dissappointed with this classic.

You MUST be 18+ Years old to purchase this item.  All firearms MUST ship to a current Federal Firearms License (FFL) dealer local to you.

How to purchase:

1). Coordinate with your local FFL to ensure they are willing to accept a transfer.  There is often a fee for this.  All receiving fees are your responsibility.  It is your responsibility to ensure that your local dealer will receive the firearm.

2). You will need to provide the contact information, including an email address, for your local FFL.  We will coordinate with your local FFL to verfiy license validity.  We will ship the firearm to your local FFL for administrative processing.  We will NEVER ship a firearm directly to you.

3).  Once the firearm arrives at your local dealer you will be notified that it is ready to begin the transfer.  Your local FFL dealer will conduct a background check and/or any other steps to ensure you are eligible to take possession of the firearm in accordance with Federal, State, and local laws.  You CAN NOT take possession of the firearm until this step has been conducted.

4).  Once your local FFL dealer has completed all of the steps required to legally transfer the firearm to you they will allow you to pick it up.

If you do not provide contact information for a current and valid FFL dealer within 7 days we will cancel the order and refund your purchase price.

If you fail your background check we will arrange shipment back to us and you will be charged a restocking fee.

Your local dealer will only release the firearm to the individual who purchased the firearm.  It is a FEDERAL CRIME to purchase a firearm for someone else in an effort to avoid conducting a background check.

Not quite as advertised but close enough

Posted by Caleb Nixon on 25th Jun 2024

At the time I purchased the description read something to the nature of “all have a metal trigger guard indicating pre-freedom group manufacture” I got a newer 870 tactical with the plastic trigger guard. Would have preferred an older one but mines in decent shape. Just some light surface rust I was able to clean up ok with steel wool and oil.

It's like gambling, but no matter what happens... you still get a gun! Easy purchase process, shipped quickly, sowed up just as promised- it was a Police trade in shotgun. Mine ended up being one with Rifle sights and a sling. Pics here: https://gunsandoutdoors.net/forum/viewtopic.php?t=1006

    Not bad warehouse dog.

I received one of the RCI magnum shotguns with 18in barrel with a standard mag tube. Shotgun is in pretty good shape. It is fairly clean, a smooth action and missing rear sight sub assembly. The rear sight sub assembly is the same as older Rem700s, bought one off ebay. Nurmich also has the parts.

I was happy with the 870 I purchased. I will purchase one more. There should be a way to verify the FFL. Because I use the same FFL for numerous transfers. But all in all a great experience. Fast delivery and no Problems. I would recommend you guy to everyone.
