This Early 1700's Danish Pistol was produced in Denmark, likely for a naval officer. The scroll work and engraving is heavy throughout, typical styling for an important person.
The guide rod is not original, it is a later era steel rod.
The lock functions as it should with two distinct positions, half cocked and cocked, but the trigger will not release the hammer.
