This 1700's Era Spanish style flintlock pistol features a 12" barrel with a 50 caliber bore. The barrel is reinforced octagon shape at the breech with heavy gold scrolled inlay. The stock is beautifully carved with brass inlay accentuating the carving. The ram rod appears to be original, although it has been broken or cut down and is a little bit short for use. The lock functions as it should with two distinct points, half cocked and fully cocked.
There is a name lightly engraved in the side plate, "G OTIANTLA" Is what is legible.
There is some obvious wear markings from the centuries of use, but this gun is overall in fully functional shape.
This is a Pre-1898 antique, and it will ship directly to the buyer. Buyer is responsible to know their state laws before purchasing.
